Managing your practice

Dispute resolution: Including a comprehensive mediation service to help resolve partnership disputes without resorting to expensive litigation, ensuring that your contractual relationship with NHSE/the CCG is managed throughout the process.

Succession planning: Issues and solutions to help ensure you navigate the risk in succession planning.

When and if it becomes necessary, we can provide advice on the sale of healthcare practices together with advice on the transfer of GMS contracts, PMS and APMS, Dental and General Ophthalmic Services (GOS) contracts.

 

Construction and/or Refurbishment of Healthcare Premises

One of the essential foundations of healthcare is improving the patient journey, as well as maximising the range of services provided. Expert advice on Performers List issues

GP’s, Dentists and Opticians hold various salaried posts and are required to have their name on NHS England’s Performers List. We are highly experienced at providing advice on the on the issues that can arise from joining the Performers List. We can advise on when action is proposed or initiated to remove or suspend a medical practitioner from the List. In the unfortunate event a dispute arises we can advise on the resolution of the same arising from GMS, PMS, APMS, Dental Contract and General Ophthalmic Services (GOS) contract.

GMC, GDC and GOC investigations

We provide advice on all GMC, GDC and GOC matters including performance reviews, registration appeals, specialist list appeals, and representation at fitness to practise hearings.

Provider Organisations

A provider organisation can sometimes be a useful vehicle to deliver new and innovative services, which can be formed as part of a GP federation and or super-practice. We can advise on setting up provider organisations and joint ventures between GP federations and GP practices for sharing resources and community interest companies.

Commercial Contracts and Procedures

Our in-house NHS expertise means we have an established reputation for providing commercially focused, practical legal advice on commercial contracts and procedures. We can review and negotiate commercial contracts on your behalf, as well as provide succinct and practical advice on the correct contractual route to follow, thus minimising contractual risk to your practice.
